Jeb Bush’s events canceled due to winter storm

One of the political casualties of the building winter storm in Washington is Jeb Bush's book tour.

Bush, who has been making the rounds for the past few days and making plenty of news in the process, had his speech at the Cato Institute Wednesday canceled, Cato has announced.

The potential 2016 presidential candidate is also set to sit down with reporters over tea Wednesday afternoon at an event hosted by the Christian Science Monitor. The Monitor sent an e-mail early Tuesday evening saying that Bush still meant to attend the event.

Update 9:48 a.m.: The Christian Science Monitor just announced that its event has also been canceled, saying Bush's flight to Washington has been canceled due to the weather.
