DSCC outraised NRSC nearly 2-1 in February

Senate Democrats' campaign arm raised roughly twice what its GOP counterpart brought in last month, collecting $4.3 million to Republicans' $2.17 million.

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee ended the period with $5.1 million in the bank, while the National Republican Senatorial Committee wrapped the month with $3.1 million in the bank and $9.5 million in debt. The DSCC didn't immediately disclose its debt level; it was carrying about $15.7 million in debt at the end of January.

Senate Republicans need to pick up six seats to reclaim the Senate majority in 2014.
