Jimmy McMillan is back.
The "Rent is Too Damn High" Party candidate is running for mayor of New York City, and what better way to launch that effort than with a rap song?
McMillan, you may recall, made a splash at a New York governor's debate in 2010 by pushing his signature issue -- namely, the rent being too damn high.
And ironically -- or perhaps appropriately -- he faced eviction from his apartment in 2011 because, he alleged, the owners wanted someone who wasn't subject to rent control protections (McMillan had lived there for more than 40 years). In other words, the rent was too damn low.
