Trump releases Obama parody video Republicans axed

At last, what someone has possibly been waiting for -- the Donald Trump parody video that never aired at the Republican National Convention.

Breitbart News has the whole video. Trump says it was killed by Mitt Romney aides for being "too controversial." Romney staffers say it was simply a scheduling issue related to the tropical storm that cut the convention short.

As has been described by Trump in past interviews, the video involves the celebrity mogul pretending to fire President Obama (played by an impersonator). "Obama" barely speaks. Instead, most of the talking is done by Trump and through news clips. In the real estate tycoon's opinion, the decision to cut the convention film was endemic of the Romney campaign's inability to harness Trump's appeal.

A shorter version of the Trump parody actually played on NBC News back in September, with no discernible effect on the election.
