New Yorker turns Anthony Weiner into King Kong

Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words.

“With a topic like Anthony Weiner, how can you find anything broad or funny that he hasn't already personally breached?” artist John Cuneo said of this week's New Yorker cover. He found the "King Kong"-inspired image by free association. "But all I could think about while working on this piece was, ‘Will Weiner still be in the race by the time it runs?’”

Weiner is still in the race and has given no sign that he intends to drop out of the New York mayoral race. But polling suggests he has taken a hit over the recent revelation that he continued to engage in sexual online relationships after leaving Congress.
