September 27, 2013

Vice President Biden will travel to New Jersey next month to stump for Newark Mayor and Senate front-runner Cory Booker (D), Booker's campaign announced Friday.

Biden will travel to New Jersey on Oct. 11. The Booker campaign said it will release more details on his visit in the coming days.

Polls show Booker is heavily favored to win the Oct.16 special election. His Republican opponent is Steve Lonegan, the former mayor of Bogota, N.J.
