Bush brother: George H.W. Bush wants Jeb to run

Jeb Bush's potential 2016 presidential candidacy has at times been marked by comments from his mother, who pretty clearly doesn't want him to join the family business of running for president.

But Jeb Bush's brother says their father -- former president George H.W. Bush -- has quite a different take, and that he wants Jeb to run for president.

"If you asked dad the same question, 'Should Jeb run?' He'd say yes," Neil Bush told CNN, adding: "He'd say yeah."

Neil Bush said his mother's repeated statements that her other son shouldn't run won't weigh on his decision.

But he also suggested that Jeb Bush might not personally have the required will to run.

"I really don't know if he's got the burning desire to run," Neil Bush said, quickly adding: "If he runs, he'll have that burning desire for sure."
