Democrat Brian Schweitzer: I’d be a better president than Hillary Clinton

Former Montana governor Brian Schweitzer (D) said in a newly published interview with Time Magazine that he'd make a better president than former secretary of state Hillary Rodham Clinton (D).

Said Schweizer of Clinton, "You can’t be the candidate that shakes down more money on Wall Street than anybody since, I don’t know, Woodrow Wilson, and be the populist."

He also criticized her vote to authorize the use of military force in Iraq.

"You can’t be the one to say we’re going to focus on rebuilding America if you voted to go to the Iraq war," he said.

As to the question of whether he'd make a better president, Schweitzer said, "I think so, of course. I think I have a background and a resume that isn’t just in government."

It's not the first time Schweitzer has taken a dig at Clinton -- particularly on the Iraq War vote. He remains a possible 2016 presidential candidate.
