Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) holds a 10-point lead over former Massachusetts senator Scott Brown (R), a new Suffolk University/Boston Herald survey of those most likely to vote in the Granite State shows.

Shaheen leads Brown 49 percent to 39 percent in the poll, which was conducted Saturday through Wednesday. Brown is the frontrunner for the Republican nomination against Shaheen.

The poll shows President Obama's image is struggling in the state. His approval rating stands at 39 percent, while 52 percent disapprove of the job he is doing.
