Monica Lewinsky describes ‘one of the worst days of my life’

Monica Lewinsky called the day special prosecutor Kenneth Starr released a report about the investigation into her relationship with then-President Bill Clinton "one of the worst days of my life."

The former White House intern relayed her feelings to National Geographic Channel in her first television interview in more than a decade. NBC previewed the appearance -- which will air next week as part of a special titled "The '90s: The Last Great Decade?" -- Tuesday morning on "Today."

"I was a virgin to humiliation of that level until" the day the report was released, Lewinsky said. She added: "To have my narrative ripped from me and turned into the Starr report and things that were turned over or things they delved out of my computer that I thought were deleted -- I mean, it was just violation after violation."

Lewisnky recently wrote about her relationship with Clinton in Vanity Fair.
