Former secretary of state Hillary Rodham Clinton will make her third appearance on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" on Tuesday.

Comedy Central announced Clinton's appearance Monday. It comes as she is promoting her book, "Hard Choices" and weighing a run for president in 2016.

Clinton's last appearance on the program, which is hosted by Jon Stewart, came in March, 2008. Before that, she last appeared on the program in 2003.

Sean Sullivan has covered national politics for The Washington Post since 2012.
