Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) is writing a book that is scheduled to be released -- wait for it -- in 2015.
Yes, that would put it on bookshelves the year before the 2016 presidential election. Paul is widely considered a potential candidate and he's done little to bat down speculation he will enter the race.
"Just coincidence, probably just coincidence, yeah," Paul said with a chuckle in a conversation with the Louisville Courier-Journal about the book's timing. The Courier-Journal reported plans for the book Tuesday morning.
Paul offered "Beyond Partisanship" as a subtitle for the book, which is due out early next year.
