Former secretary of state Hillary Clinton will address a Democratic women's forum in Washington next month, according to an invitation for the event.

Clinton will speak at the Women's Leadership Forum's 21st Annual National Issues Conference, which will be held Sept 18-19. The Women's Leadership Forum is a Democratic National Committee project.

President Obama will be the keynote speaker. First lady Michelle Obama and second lady Jill Biden will host a welcome reception for the event.

News of Clinton's appearance was first reported by CNN.

September could be an eventful month of public appearances for Clinton, who is weighing a run for president. She's already scheduled to appear at Iowa Sen. Tom Harkin's annual steak fry in Indianola on Sept. 14, her first trip to Iowa since losing to Obama there in 2008.
