On Monday, The Post’s Chris Cillizza and Aaron Blake made a simple, strong statement: Barack Obama is the most polarizing president ever.
In 2011, 80 percent of Democrats approved of the president, according to Gallup tracking polls, while just 12 percent of Republicans agreed — a 68-percent gap. In fact, Each year since Obama was elected in 2008, the partisan gap in his approval ratings have been the largest ever for a president for that year in office.
