The Madonna halftime show was pure spectacle for Super Bowl viewers who stuck around in front of the TV during intermission.
But was it the best Super Bowl halftime performance ever?
The show was an over-the-top event featuring egyptian garb, Roman gladiators, pom poms and much more.
It featured guest appearances from more current pop stars like LMFAO, Nicki Minaj, Cee Lo Green. And even MIA, who flipped off the camera, could not overshadow a strong ending that featured a message of “World Peace” in on-stage light show.
