Here is a sampling of some of our most recommended comments about Newt Gingrich’s chances. Do you agree or disagree with these readers?

It is hard to comprehend that Iowa voters say Gingrich’s political experience gives him positive reviews when he was drummed out of his job as Speaker by his own Republican leadership and fined $300,000 for ethics violations. So being a crook in Congress is okay in Iowa?

I predict that this is where Gingrich peaks. He’s had it very easy up til now with Cain’s stupid antics distracting people from his own disgusting behavior. But a serial-philandering, fat-cat-consultant, insider-dealing, beltway-lobbyist, mentally incontinent gasbag can only charm people for so long.

Newt is a loose cannon and will implode when least expected. Remember all the other “front-runners” in Iowa.
That Newt is the flavor of the week only means that he is the flavor of the week.
