President Obama and Jan Brewer: The caption contest

President Obama and Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer’s heated interaction on the tarmac of the Phoenix airport Wednesday has garnered plenty of attention. But no one — besides the president and the governor — knows exactly what was said.

So we’re offering you a chance to take a guess here. Write a caption for the photo above, and/or vote for captions you like in the comment thread below. Taking those votes and our staff’s opinion into account, we’ll award a t-shirt to a lucky winner on Friday.

Your caption can put words in the mouth of either (or both) politician. Our staff will favor entries that are creative, funny, civil and original.

The deadline for entries is 4 p.m. ET. Good luck!

Note: We’ll be more active than usual in moderating the comment thread, deleting posts that are not entries in the contest.
