A motorist was killed Friday night in a crash with a Metro bus in the Seat Pleasant area, authorities said.
Prince George’s County police said eight passengers from the bus were taken to a hospital to be checked.
The crash occurred about 9:30 p.m. in the Seat Pleasant area, according to police and transit officials.
The collision occurred near Central Avenue and Soper Lane while the F14 bus was en route to Naylor Road, authorities said.
At least 17 of the 40 passengers reported injuries, but none of them appeared life threatening, said Philip Stewart, a Metro spokesman.
