Federal offices to open at noon Monday

Due to predicted icy conditions, the government is urging federal employees to stay off roads in the Washington region until 10 a.m. on Monday.

Federal offices will open at noon, the Office of Personnel Management announced Sunday night. Federal workers have the option of taking unscheduled leave or teleworking.

D.C. schools and the city’s government will open two hours late on Monday, city officials announced late Sunday night. And the D.C. courts will open at 10 a.m.
