A construction worker was killed in an accident in Fairfax County Saturday when he was struck by an asphalt roller, county police said.
Edgar Tobar, 40, of Woodbridge was standing near a road at a construction site in the 7300 block of Statecrest Drive, in the Annandale area, they said.
Another worker driving the roller on a road lost control of it and it “ran over Tobar,” the police said in a statement.
The investigation was turned over to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, they said.
