The Lululemon store in Bethesda will reopen for the first time since the brutal slaying of an employee there in March, the chain announced.
The June 24 reopening will “embrace the theme of ‘love’” in honor of the slain employee, Jayna Murray, according to the shop’s Facebook page.
“More than ever, we remain committed to the people of Bethesda
and look forward to continuing to share with this community the same love, passion and grace with which Jayna lived her life,” the statement said.
Brittany Norwood, Murray’s co-worker at the athletic-wear store, has been charged with first-degree murder in the 30-year-old’s killing. Police allege Norwood beat Murray to death after an argument.
