A bicyclist was struck by a vehicle Wednesday afternoon in downtown Washington, D.C. police said.
Officials are investigating the accident that injured a woman in the 1300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue NW about 6:30 p.m., said Officer Hugh Carew, a spokesman. The woman was conscious and breathing at the scene, and taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Carew said.
