Boil-water advisory issued in Culpeper, Va.

A boil-water advisory has been issued for residents in Culpeper, Va., following a water main break overnight.

According to Culpeper officials, a 12-inch water main near a Safeway grocery store failed Monday night, resulting in loss of service and low water pressure in the southern end of the town.

Residents are advised to boil tap water before using until further notice. Repairs are expected to be complete within 48 hours.
