A man working on a car in the Riverdale area was killed Wednesday afternoon when the car fell off a jack and onto him, authorities said.
The incident occurred about 1 p.m. in the 5400 block of Carters Lane, authorities said. Cpl. Mike Rodriguez, a Prince George’s County police spokesman, said the incident appears to be an accident, possibly because the car jack failed.
Rodriguez said he did not know the man’s name.
