Bowie State University will host a memorial service and candlelight vigil Wednesday night to honor Dominique Frazier, the student who was fatally stabbed in her dorm room last week.

The service will be held at 7 p.m. in room 102 of the Center for Learning Technology building on campus, officials said.

Frazier, 18, of the District, was killed Thursday night in an incident that began as a fight over music and escalated, according to court papers. Frazier’s roommate, 19-year-old Alexis Simpson, has been charged with the stabbing.

Earlier memorials were held on Friday, the day after Frazier was killed, and Sunday, on what would have been Frazier’s 19th birthday.
