Vigil tonight for slain Lululemon employee

A vigil will be held tonight for Jayna Murray, the 30-year-old Arlington woman who was killed last week at the Lululemon Athletica store in downtown Bethesda. The Gazette reports.

Friends and family with gather at 8 p.m. Friday at The Mindfulness Center, 49603 Elm St., Bethesda. Wheaton Patch reported that Murray was a regular participant at the center’s morning yoga classes.

Around 9 p.m. March 11, Murray and a co-worker closed the Bethesda Row yoga store but returned after one of the women realized she’d forgotten something in the store. They reentered the store just a little after 10 p.m. That’s when, police said, two masked men entered the store, sexually assaulted and beat both women. Murray’s co-worker is expected to survive. The reward for tips that lead to an arrest has gone up, to $145,500, police said.
