Colts safety Joe Lefeged is pumped for Seneca Valley vs. Quince Orchard. Is it the weekend’s best matchup?

Buzz is starting to build around Friday night’s matchup between No. 3 Quince Orchard and No. 17 Seneca Valley. First Forestville’s Charles Harley said in our coaches’ poll that he’d even pay to watch the game. Friendship Collegiate Coach Aazaar Abdul-Rahim called it his game of the week.

Late Monday afternoon Indianapolis Colts safety Joe Lefeged took to Twitter, promising to attend the game. With Indianapolis enjoying a bye week, Lefeged has time to visit home and watch two 4-0 teams. Lefeged was the 2006 defensive All-Met Player of the Year at Northwest.

Quince Orchard Coach Dave Mencarini responded on Twitter, telling Lefeged, “There is no way a [Northwest] grad can stand on [the Seneca Valley] sideline. [Former Northwest coach Randy] Trivers would disown you. Plenty of room on ours. Call it even for 2006.”

All the excitement made us wonder, what will be the best game in the area this weekend? (You can find the weekend schedule here.) Cast a vote in our poll and let us know why in the comments.
