Dave Tallman resigns as basketball coach at St. Mary’s Ryken

Dave Tallman has resigned as the boys’ basketball coach at St. Mary’s Ryken.

Tallman had been a head coach at the Leonardtown school for four years, guiding the Knights to a 61-52 record. Led by All-Met guard Treveon Graham, a Virginia Commonwealth recruit, Ryken was 19-12 this past season.

Tallman said he will remain the school’s athletic directo and that the decision was made for personal reasons.
