Oakton linebacker C.J. Reimann, a second-team All-Met selection, committed on Monday to play for William & Mary, choosing the Tribe over Columbia. Reimann joins Westfield second-team All-Met running back Kendell Anderson as William & Mary commits from the Virginia AAA Concorde District.
The 6-foot, 202-pound Reimann finished with 134 tackles, including 24 for loss, seven sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one interception as Oakton opened 2011 with seven consecutive wins.
“It just kind of felt right,” Reimann said. “I was looking at Columbia, and it’s tough to turn down an Ivy League education, but in my heart it felt right when I set foot on campus and I knew this was the place. I feel thrilled. It’s definitely a big weight lifted off my shoulders.”
Anderson committed to William & Mary last week.
