Boys’ top performers
• G Melo Trimble, O’Connell, scored 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds in Tuesday’s 49-34 win against Carroll.
• G Nick Griffin, Magruder, hit seven three-pointers on his way to 26 points in Monday’s 71-42 win over Northwest.
• F Walt Moody, River Hill, produced 23 points, including 7-of-8 from the line, in Monday’s 63-60 win over Marriotts Ridge.
• F Marcus Derrickson, Paul VI, had 15 points and 10 rebounds in Tuesday’s 69-68 loss to No. 1 Gonzaga.
• G Brandon Better, Princeton Day, scored 21 points in Tuesday’s 106-61 win over Perry Street Prep.
Girls’ top performers
• F Nicole Floyd, Stonewall Jackson, poured in 33 points, including 16 field goals, and added 15 rebounds in Tuesday’s 91-38 win over Patriot.
• G Jasmin Dancy, Springbrook, scored 26 points in Monday’s 53-52 loss to Sherwood.
• G Daria Simmons, Eleanor Roosevelt, had 20 points in Tuesday’s 76-44 win against Suitland.
• F Mercedes Suarez, Wilson, notched 15 points in Tuesday’s 71-13 win over Cardozo.
