Last season, Eleanor Roosevelt guard Andre Fox was a good player on a great team, a crucial boost of energy off the bench for the Maryland 4A state champions, but a guy who saw limited minutes and could afford an off night here or there.
Now, with Roosevelt’s top six scorers from that state title squad gone to graduation, Fox is the guy. He’s gone from role player to star, and he’s had no trouble making that jump. Through nine games, Fox is averaging just fewer than 20 points per contest, and has helped the Raiders to a 7-2 start in what some thought would be a rebuilding year. We caught up with Fox at Roosevelt’s practice to discuss his transition. Check it out here:
