Sounds like Gary Sinise may have been banged up pretty badly in a car accident in D.C. Friday. The actor was a passenger in the car, according to his foundation’s website.

Although his injuries were said to be “minor,” the “CSI: NY” star canceled a benefit concert with his Lt. Dan Band Saturday night in Martinsville, Va., his Grand Marshall role at Sunday’s NASCAR race at the race track there, and an appearance at D.C.’s Navy Memorial Monday, where he was slated to become an honorary chief petty officer. The audience at the memorial was told Sinise was still in the hospital but “doing well.” A rep for his foundation couldn’t provide any more details.
