Anyone watching the early speakers on C-SPAN was bombarded by crimson. Was this . . . planned? Nope, just a popular, camera-friendly pick. We’re told the GOP podium had no official dress code — but organizers did ask speakers what shade they planned to wear, and picked backdrops accordingly.
