(Eric Thayer/Reuters) • Joe Biden having a quick dinner in the main dining room the Hamilton on 14th Street — the soup of the day, beef barley — with one of his granddaughters, before rushing off to see “Les Miserables” at the National Theatre around the corner. (WTOP’s Bob Madigan caught up with them there in the fourth row; seems the veep has seen the musical many, many times before.)
