• Judi Dench pacing the steps of the Folger Shakespeare Library late Thursday morning — oh, and yes, it was a film shoot. Small crew and only one other actor in the scene with Dame Judi, who wore a fabulous trenchcoat. They’ll be around town the next couple days filming “Philomena,” based on a true story about a woman searching for the child she gave up for adoption. Also stars Steve Coogan, though he wasn’t the actor at the Folger. We’re told they picked the site for its perfect Capitol dome backdrop.
