An excited group of fans sitting at the chef’s table asked her to join them, but the actress — in town for the AIDS Conference — declined. She did make a point of saying goodbye to the kitchen staff, though.
• Janet Napolitano tearing into a pile of crabs with Martin O’Malley at Cantler’s in Annapolis Monday night. Just the two Democratic honchos at the casual riverfront spot — oh, and her Secret Service detail.
