The Foo Fighters drummer was in town for the Kennedy Center Honors, where he took a rare role behind the mic during the Led Zeppelin tribute when Dave Grohl decided he’d rather try to drum like Bonham than sing like Plant, so swapped places.
• Paul Teutul Jr. of “American Chopper” also lunching at Old Ebbitt, same day, separate table. Club sandwich, green beans. The reality star was in town for a promotional appearance at the Redskins-Giants game that night.
