Hey, isn’t that...?: Alex Ovechkin, George Wallace

• Alex Ovechkin back in town Sunday night and hanging out at Sequoia on the Georgetown waterfront in classic Ovie style — kicking back on an indoor couch (t-shirt, hat, expensive jeans), ladies surrounding him, talking on his phone. (Dan Steinberg chronicles various other sightings of Ovechkin on the East Coast this weekend.)

• George Wallace (the comedian, that is) dropping by Ben’s Next Door on U Street Saturday afternoon and posing for photos with any fan who asked. Yellow polo shirt, and his trademark black Kangol cap. What brought him to town? His family’s semi-annual reunion — 450 members strong — had convened in D.C.
