• Alex Ovechkin getting a taste of home at Mari Vanna Tuesday night. One day after after returning to Washington from Moscow, the Capitals star player and two friends dropped by the just opened Russian-themed bar in Dupont Circle. Ovechkin, a fan of the restaurant’s New York branch, autographed the wall and ate pirozhok and beef stroganoff, then tweeted a picture of himself in front of the eatery.
