When the Waldorf-bred twins (back in town for a Good Charlotte concert in Baltimore on Monday) were caught on the Jumbotron, the D.C. crowd jeered — because Benji, in the foreground, was wearing an O’s jersey. So Joel calmed the furor by leaning forward to flash his Nats jersey.

• Rory McIlroy carving into a rotisserie chicken at Redwood in Bethesda on Friday night. What does the U.S. Open boy wonder wear off the links? Jeans, striped polo, black square-rimmed specs. Dining with fellow golfer Lee Westwood.

• Adrian M. Fenty, no longer mayor but still a major weekend warrior, trudging up 6th Street from Pennsylvania Avenue after finishing the D.C. Triathlon. He did the 1500m swim, 40k bike, 10k run in 2 hours 25 minutes.
