• Caroline Kennedy dining with four friends at the Bombay Club Wednesday night. The women, all dressed in pantsuits, chowed down on crispy spinach, tandoori salmon, goa fish curry and baingan bharta.
• Also having Indian food in D.C. last night: Actor Ken Howard, who celebrated the merger of his union, the Screen Actors Guild, with the American Federation of Radio and Television Artists (now called SAG-AFTRA). Howard and co-president Roberta Reardon dined at Rasika with a large group of staffers, sharing orders of chicken makhani, lamb roganjosh, cucumber raita and lots of red and white wine.
