• Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter fist-pumping his way through an entire set by the Roots at a nightclub party Monday hosted by StartUp RockOn, a federation of new media entrepreneurs. Never mind the RSVP lists: It’s actually pretty rare to see elected officials making the scene at the more raucous, late-night convention parties. Then again, the second-term mayor first made his name years ago in Philly as record-spinning Mix Master Mike.
