• Steven Spielberg snapping close-ups of the cherry blossoms along the Tidal Basin with a trusty little point-and-shoot Sunday afternoon. The producer-director (bundled up against the cold like all the other tourists) was escorted along the narrow pathway by a couple of Park Service rangers. NPS tells us Spielberg had requested a guided tour of the FDR memorial.
