Tony Blair having coffee with Sen. John Kerry in the lobby of the Fairmont late Tuesday morning. Very talkative — looked like a friendly meeting. The former British PM spoke a day earlier at the Global Philanthropy Forum conference at the same West End hotel. (What were they talking about? Blair told a Philadelphia audience later that day that Kerry “suggested that I offer to make peace between the Flyers and the Penguins. I told him that achieving peace between the Palestinians and Israelis would be easier,” according to Metro Philly.
