There’s a new beauty pageant scandal to catch up on, and it’s a doozy: Jenna Talackova was abruptly disqualified from the Miss Canada Universe pageant — a Trump-owned feeder for the Miss Universe show — after word got around that she was born male. Talackova, 22, has said she began hormone treatments at 14 and had sex-change surgery at 19. She told the Vancouver Sun she considered her ouster a “human rights” issue. Pageant reps said only that she did not meet competition requirements.
