• Ann Romney already has one champ in her household: Rafalca, one of her many dressage horses. The U.S. Equestrian Federation confirmed this week that the 15-year-old mare and rider Jan Ebeling (Romney’s riding partner and trainer) have been selected as one of two pairs to represent the U.S. in next month’s World Cup finals. Some of America’s top riders took a pass on the annual competition to prepare for a bigger prize: The 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Ralafca and Ebeling are one of 43 pairs vying for the three places on the U.S Olympic team, which will be selected in June.
