• Just like you, Aretha Franklin has a list of what stars should play her friends and relatives in the movie of her life — except that someone might actually make a movie about her life. In her latest effort to build buzz for a potential biopic, the Queen of Soul gave the NY Daily News her dream cast list: Nia Long, Kerry Washington and Blair Underwood as her siblings, Denzel Washington as her dad, and Terrence Howard as Smokey Robinson. Though she earlier floated the idea of Halle Berry, she is currently silent on the question of who should play the lead, assuming this project ever comes together.

Dominique Strauss-Kahn’s political career may be in shambles — but his wife has a new job. Anne Sinclair, an American-born heiress who had a glamorous career as a top French news anchor, has been named editorial director of Le Huffington Post, the Frenchified version of the Arianna Huffington Web empire, reports the Associated Press.
