• The richest dog in America — Trouble, willed $12 million by his late mistress Leona Helmsley — has died at the age of 12. The Maltese succumbed in December after a long illness, the New York Daily News reported Thursday. After the hotel magnate’s death in 2007, a judge reduced the $12 million bequest to a mere $2 million, though poor Trouble didn’t have enough time to burn through all of that, even: His caretaker, a Helmsley hotel manager in Sarasota, estimated the pup’s expenses at $100K a year, most going to his own fee and a guard’s salary. What’s left of the $2 million reverts to a Helmsley trust, reports the AP.

Flo Rida was arrested in Miami Beach early Thursday on suspicion of drunk driving, reports AP, while a crowd of fans begged cops to let him go. The rapper was driving a $1.7 million Bugatti, says TMZ; should have been more careful!
