• Patti LaBelle: Strong voice and, allegedly, even stronger feelings on parenting techniques. The R&B diva (“Lady Marmalade,” etc.) is being sued by fellow tenants in an N.Y.C. building who claim the singer hurled harsh words and water at them, the Associated Press reports. According to the family’s suit, LaBelle chastised the mother for letting her toddler girl wander while she wrestled with a car seat and luggage; when the mom responded that it was none of LaBelle’s business, singer exploded with expletives and tossed water from a bottle she was carrying. No word yet from the singer’s side.
