Sorry, N.Y.C. tourists: The nightspot that hosted the brawl involving Chris Brown and Drake is off your itinerary for now. The Associated Press reports that the city shut down the SoHo club W.i.P. on Saturday for code violations, days after the bottle-throwing fight between the hip-hop stars’ entourages. No charges yet in the fracas, which resulted in cuts and other injuries for Brown and several bystanders (including NBA star Tony Parker, whose cornea was scratched) — and is prompting city officials to mull whether bottle service is a nightlife hazard in need of regulation, reports the New York Post.
